A to Z Pet Grooming

We are an exclusive grooming salon that grew out of the A to Z Pet Shop. A to Z Pets of Lincoln Park was started in 2004 by Andrea Zivari-Giannoglou who is a Towaco resident. By 2005, our customers were begging us for grooming services. So, we set up the back room for grooming. A year later, we became so busy with grooming that we decided to make the entire shop dog and cat grooming. Dog grooming is our passion. We love dogs and cats and we love to make them beautiful. We have 1000 square feet of dog and cat grooming space. We boast three bathtubs.

Our employees are animals lovers first and foremost. Our employees will never be rough to an animal. We strongly believe that treating an animal with tender loving care produces a calmer animal which is easier to groom. Harsh words and actions are not tolerated in our salon.

You have to love this picture.  We call this white dog day.  We get a lot of white dogs.  I am partial to white dogs as you can see my little Diko sitting on the ground.  I love little white dogs.  Oh, and I may as well mention that we use Bio-Groom tearless whitening shampoo which is great at keeping the coat soft and white.

As a conscientious grooming salon owner, I am constantly looing for better and better products to make your dog look better and our job easier.  At a recent trade show, we discovered Davis Quick Dry, which cuts drying in half.  This is a huge find for us because drying is oftern very stressful for your dog, expecially older dogs.  Now drying time is cut in half!

JANET COSTA has been with us since 2007.  She has been grooming since 1995 and we are lucky to have her.  We call her the yorkie expert because she has 7 yorkies herself.  She is patient, kind to the animals and is meticulous with her grooming.
We are not ordinary groomers:

We have a hydraulic table to handle even your BIG dogs. The table is rated up to 700 pounds. It has wheels to wheel the larger dogs right into the bath tub.

If your dogs needs a tranquilizer, you will have to arrange that with your veterinarian ahead of time.  We do not sedate dogs.

We have experienced groomers on staff. We pride ourselves on usually being able to fit your dog in for a grooming at the last minute even on a busy Saturday. We cater to our customers and their pets.

FURMINATOR SHAMPOO

We offer Furminator Brand De-shedding shampoo which should stop shedding up to 80% and lasts five weeks.  This premium product we offer for a mere $5.00 extra per groom.  Many of our customers rave about this.

We offer oatmeal and medicated shampoos at no charge.

We de-flea dogs and cats.

We do even largest dogs on our hydraulic tables.  We roll the tables right to the tub which is less lifting for us and less stress for your dog.

We groom by appointment and your dog will not be left all day.

We use premium shampoos for our regular washing.  Our tearless shampoo is made by Bio-Groom and it also  conditions the coat.  These shampoos are expensive but we feel they are well worth it.  We retail this shampoo too.  We also condition most of our groomed dogs.  Our customers tell us their dogs come out so soft and it is because we use the best shampoos in the business.  We use whitener on white dogs which really make them sparkling bright.
