BECAUSE WE HAND DO NOT PUT DOGS UNDER HOT DRYERS
When we first starting grooming here at A to Z Pet Grooming in 2005, a local veterinarian was consulted for any advice he had to offer. He had some things to share. He said that cage drying kills dogs, especially older dogs who simply can not handle the heat. As a matter of fact, he had an older dog client of his that week that died under a cage drier. An employee of ours also told us that her mother’s dog died as a result of cage drying. It is more common that you would think. Some of the bigger dogs who do not like drying may be caged dried, but the dryer is not a hot dryer and the cage in an open air cage, not a closed cage.
As a result, we take the time to hand dry most dogs that come into our salon. It may take more time and effort, but we believe it is necessary for the safety of these innocent animals that you entrust us with.
