Dogs and cats are better than kids...they eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive your car, don't hang out with drug-using friends, don't smoke or drink, don't worry about having to buy the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, and don't need a gazillion dollars for college.

Actual A to Z Happenings:

Woman calls the shop to ask for a shave on her lab. No problem, we'll fit the dog in today. She brings the dog in and we confirm the dog is to be shaved. She said the dog is too hot and needs less fur. OK! We shave the dog down. The woman is very happy. Two days later we get a call from her husband saying we ruined his dog! Oh no! Well, she did ask for the dog to be shaved. Husband insists, "No she didn't, she asked for a summer trim up." The man was hopping mad. Sheesh, If I were her I'd tell him the groomer made the mistake too. If you want your dog shaved down, please check with the other half first!
