A to Z DOG GROOMING School

If you have a lot of dogs or if you have an expensive-to-groom dog, learning how to groom may be a worthwhile investment.  To become a professional, dog grooming is an art form and a talent  that takes months and years to perfect.  If you aren't that picky and if you are up to the task, we will teach you how to groom your own dog in our professional salon.  You can purchase your equipment ahead of time or after lessons using my equipment.  We will not teach for professional grooming, rather we encourage you to become an apprentice at a reputable salon.

This is Cali and Rocky at a Halloween party.  Lisa, on of my star pupils, put her newfound skills to work and did a fine job on her dogs.  Thanks for keeping me posted.  Well done.

CHARGES

We charge the price to groom your dog, plus $40 per hour and you will need a 2 1/2 hour lesson for a small dog like a shih tsu, longer for a large dog.  You can come back as often as you like for the hourly cost for further instruction as you wish.

Some of the items you will need we will be able to sell to you, some you will have to order.   I have catalogs that I can share with you.

We will teach you during the week, or at the end of our Saturday workday in the afternoon.  Weekdays are better because Saturday is always busy.
